Today's reading from Three in One Chronological Bible: Genesis 32, 2 Kings 1-4; Luke 9.28-62

Today's Reading From Genesis 32
Genesis 32 with Commentaries, verse by verse
Jacob prepare to meet Esau (v. 1-21). This was a moment in Jabob's life that he was not looking forward to. This was his brother who he stole the birthright from, he was not quite sure what would happen to him. He had to face the music, so to speak, with God's grace.

Jacob wrestles with God (v. 22-32).
Before he met Esau, he had to face God. That night Esau wrestled with God. To show you the kind of person Esau was, he wrestled with God the whole night but did not and could not win. He said to God that he would not leave intil he blessed him (v. 26). God asked him the question that He asks each one of us. What is your name? Who are you? When we come face to face with that and realize who we are, then God can radically change us (2 Cor. 5.17)
